Những giải pháp mạnh tay đã được các cơ quan quản lý Nhà nước đưa ra nhằm giảm thiểu tác hại của game online đối với trẻ em. Đặc biệt, những cơ quan này cũng kêu gọi sự vào cuộc tích cực hơn của gia đình trong việc giáo dục trẻ tự miễn dịch với những mặt trái của game online nói riêng và Internet nói chung.
Gia đình cần chủ động và tích cực hơn
Theo Tổng Thư ký Hội tâm lý học Hà Nội Nguyễn Đức Thạc, phải nhận thức rõ rằng những tác hại, ảnh hưởng tiêu cực của Internet, game online tới thanh thiếu niên không chỉ từ các game bạo lực, game có nội dung không lành mạnh mà ngay cả từ những game lành mạnh nếu trẻ dành quá nhiều thời gian cho việc chơi game, truy cập Internet, dẫn đến tình trạng “nghiện game”, “nghiện Internet”. Điều này đã được các nhà khoa học xác định rõ.
Phân tích về sự vô tâm của cha mẹ đối với nhu cầu giải trí của con em mình, ông Thạc cho biết, nhiều bậc cha mẹ thời nay chỉ đến khi phát hiện ra con mình đã “nghiện game”, đã chịu ảnh hướng xấu từ Internet, game online thì mới không tiếc tiền của, dồn công sức để chữa trị, giải quyết hậu quả. Nhưng trước đó khi hậu quả xấu chưa xảy ra thì họ lại không quan tâm, coi như không có vấn đề gì. Thực tế là với nhiều gia đình, nhất là các gia đình sống ở đô thị, cha mẹ tập trung kiếm tiền, đầu tư nhiều cho con về mặt vật chất, điều kiện sinh hoạt nhưng lại sao nhãng, thậm chí là không đầu tư cho con em về mặt tinh thần, không dành thời gian để quan tâm đến nhu cầu tình cảm của con cái.
“Tôi cho rằng, việc để con cái “nghiện game”, chìm đắm trong “thế giới ảo” của Internet có trách nhiệm không nhỏ của các bậc cha mẹ. Đây là vấn đề giành giật con cái trước những tác hại xấu, tiêu cực từ xã hội nói chung và từ Internet, game online nói riêng, nếu cha mẹ không là sức hút thì những thứ khác sẽ hút mất, ông Thạc so sánh.
Ths. Trần Văn Thức, Giảng viên khoa Tâm lý – Giáo dục, Trường ĐHSP Hà Nội cũng khẳng định, giáo dục gia đình là yếu tố rất quan trọng trong quá trình hình thành nhân cách cho trẻ. Có một thực tế là khi con cái ở độ tuổi trưởng thành cũng là lúc các bậc cha mẹ phải tập trung phấn đấu, bươn trải nhiều nhất cho cuộc sống. Ở độ tuổi học sinh, các em hết sức nhạy cảm với những yếu tố mới lạ mà các bậc phụ huynh không đặt vấn đề cần phải quan tâm, dành thời gian giáo dục con cái thì đó là một nguy cơ rất lớn.

Xét về mặt tâm lý, theo ông Thức, trẻ em là độ tuổi dễ tiếp thu những yếu tố mới lạ nhưng cũng rất dễ bị “tổn thương” nhất trước các tác động xấu. Trẻ chơi game đòi hỏi phải có điều kiện về thời gian và phương tiện vật chất. Các bậc cha mẹ nên nắm được thời gian biểu của con cái, giờ nào, ở đâu, làm việc gì. Một gia đình có sự quan tâm thì không thể để đứa trẻ chơi game thâu đêm suốt sáng, đi chơi quá khuya thậm chí đi qua đêm. Mặt khác, các bậc phụ huynh cần xây dựng bầu không khí tâm lý gia đình tích cực. Tổ chức đời sống gia đình theo hướng có nhiều hoạt động gắn kết các thành viên, thu hút sự tham gia của trẻ vào sinh hoạt gia đình. Sớm phát hiện những bất thường trong tâm lý trẻ để kịp thời uốn nắn, can thiệp.
“Cũng cần nhìn nhận về cách giáo dục trẻ sử dụng đồng tiền ở một số gia đình hiện nay. Để chơi được game online thường xuyên, trẻ phải có một số tiền nhất định. Tôi từng chứng kiến một học sinh lớp 6 đến cửa hàng Internet, ban đầu đứa trẻ chỉ chơi 1 giờ/ngày, khi nào có tiền và có thời gian em đó chơi nhiều hơn. Cho đến 1 ngày, đứa trẻ bỏ ra 500.000 để mua thẻ game… Tôi cứ băn khoăn tại sao một đứa trẻ lớp 6 lại được sử dụng một số tiền lớn như thế cho việc vui chơi và nó lấy ở đâu?”, ông Thức dẫn chứng.
“Chúng tôi không đổ lỗi cho xã hội trong việc giáo dục trẻ mà chỉ kêu gọi các doanh nghiệp nên vì thế hệ trẻ mà hy sinh một phần lợi ích của mình”, TS. Nguyễn Tùng Lâm, Hiệu trưởng Trường PTTH Dân lập Đinh Tiên Hoàng nói khi phân tích về những phản ứng của doanh nghiệp trong các giải pháp mạnh tay của cơ quan quản lý Nhà nước đối với việc cung cấp dịch vụ game online.
Việc đóng cửa các quán game sau 23h và cấm trẻ dưới 18 tuổi vào quán Internet trong giờ hành chính, theo ông Lâm, là một động thái tích cực, tuy nhiên trẻ không chỉ chơi game ở ngoài mà chơi cả ở nhà vì rất nhiều gia đình đã nối mạng Internet. “Theo một cuộc điều tra nhỏ trong nhà trường, các em hoàn toàn công khai 2 địa điểm có thể tiếp cận được với game này và khẳng định chỉ khi nào muốn giấu gia đình thì mới ra quán Internet chơi game. Vì thế, gia đình cần tìm biện pháp quản lý tốt với trẻ chứ không nên cấm đoán, cho trẻ được chủ động truy cập Internet nhưng phải đặt máy tính ở nơi bố mẹ có thể nhìn thấy chúng đang học hay đang chơi điện tử”, ông Lâm đề xuất.
Ông Lâm cho rằng, phải có một chiến dịch hướng dẫn các gia đình để thấy được tác hại cũng như cái lợi của game. Cách tốt nhất là nhà trường thông qua các buổi họp phụ huynh thông tin, hướng dẫn để họ không bị rơi vào 2 trạng thái cực đoan cấm đoán hoàn toàn hoặc thả rông, đầu hàng con. Thậm chí, có thể biến game thành một động lực, phần thưởng để khuyến khích trẻ làm tốt các công việc học tập của mình bởi game online là một trò giải trí có sức thu hút rất lớn. Đồng thời, các doanh nghiệp cung cấp game online cũng cần hạn chế những hình ảnh bạo lực để làm “sạch” hơn nội dung game.
“Nên quan niệm một cách đơn giản trong game cứ có giao tiếp bằng vũ lực, vũ khí là bạo lực để khuyến khích các nhà sản xuất phải tạo ra những game có tình huống thông minh, vượt qua bằng trí tuệ chứ không phải bằng chân tay”, ông Lâm đề nghị.
